Deeproot Pinball, based in San Antonio, Texas, have been building up a teaser campaign that ultimately indicated the company would reveal the production model of their first game, Retro Atomic Zombie Adventureland on Sept 21st 2020

Retro Atomic Zombie Adventureland Delayed

The weekend before the appointed date, six US-based internet bloggers, podcasters and vloggers were invited to the Deeproot Pinball facility to spearhead this launch alongside Deeproot Pinball’s own social media team. Unfortunately, what this revealed was that the RAZA game and the platform on which it is built were a long way from being ready to be reveal, suffering reliability and design issues along with a number of unfinished or incomplete elements which would badly scupper RAZA’s first public showing. After announcing their launch date things were going smoothly until just days before the launch they have delayed the launch for the 3rd time. Here is there statement

On Saturday 21st November, Deeproot Pinball placed two prototype models of their upcoming Retro Atomic Zombie Adventureland (RAZA) game in the What’s Brewing coffee shop in San Antonio for guests to play.

(138 W Rhapsody Dr, San Antonio, TX 78216) tomorrow Saturday Nov. 21st from 6pm to 10pm and Sunday Nov. 22nd from Noon to 3pm. We are appreciative for What’s Brewing hosting us and providing a fun venue for the public to play RAZA! While RAZA will be on freeplay, we request you show your support for the arcade by playing one or more of the 30+ other pins while there or waiting in line.

What’s Brewing House Rules

– Pinball entrance: Enter through right fence gate and park behind the building
– No more than 40 people are permitted in the arcade at one time
– Non-playing patrons may be asked to step out in case of capacity issues
– No food or drink inside
– A mask covering the nose and mouth is required at all times when inside
– Use of hand sanitizer is required, and the staff performs frequent wipe downs of play surfaces
– Cash or quarters only”
